Clarion Gaming is to extent its strategic partnership with land-based casino trade body the European Casino Association (ECA).

Under the extended deal, which runs for five years to 2029, the ECA is to continue to host the International Casino Conference (ICC) every year at Clarion’s flagship trade show ICE.

Launching the day before the main ICE show, the conference is a forum for global leaders in the land-based sector to discuss the state of the industry.

Attendees at the ICC, which is part of the wider ICE VOX conference and networking programme, include important stakeholders and decision-makers from leading casino operators.

‘An alliance we deeply cherish’

Clarion Gaming group managing director Alex Pratt highlighted the importance of the ECA to ICE, describing the ICC as one of the most important events of the year for the land-based industry.

ECA chair Erwin van Lambaart

“The fact that ICE continues to grow and continues to attract international thought leaders, influencers and senior buyers is due in no small part to the contributions made by the ECA and its members,” he said.

Clarion managing director Stuart Hunter added: “Working with the industry in order to ensure that ICE continues to provide the very best professional business environment for all of the verticals that we serve is a cornerstone of our philosophy.”

ECA chairman Erwin van Lambaart said the association was “thrilled” to be continuing the partnership, “an alliance we deeply cherish”.

“Since its foundation, this collaboration has consistently contributed to the growth and prosperity of the land-based casino industry, supporting the European Casino Association’s efforts to be the voice of the European industry at the national, regional and EU level.”
